Our next bit of news is our next ritual celebration. The Smokey Crystal, LLC. has teamed up with Michigan Council of Covens and Solitaires and some friends from the Covenant of the Goddess to bring you a fantastic Ostara celebration!
Ostara Ritual - Sunday March 23, 2014 @ 2pm.: The Smokey
Crystal LLC & Michigan Council of Covens and Solitaires (MCCS) is proud to
welcome Oberon and Banshee to lead ritual at this year's Ostara celebration!
Banshee and Oberon are credentialed Clergy in the Covenant of the Goddess
and are also Officers in the Midwest Regional Local Council.
Oberon and Banshee have been a part of The Circle of
Wondrous Stories, a Pantheistic based eclectic tradition, since January of 1991
when it was formed and have performed Sabbats and other rituals for many
years. They have also been involved with
many other groups or situations in the community, including the Tempest Smith
Foundation, CUUPs, and FoCaS.As always, there is no charge for attendance, however donations are always appreciated and continue to allow us to offer such wonderful events for all. Author Eric R. Vernor, best known to his fans under the pen name Corvis Nocturnum, has been an invited speaker at the 2006 World Religions Seminar at Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne. The author is an artist who lectures on many subjects including: Satanism, zombies, secret societies and Goth culture, debunking the many myths and stereotypes prevalent about these subjects at conventions and universities. He is the founder and publisher of Dark Moon Press, and a Reverend and media representative for the Church of Satan.
Finally, The Smokey Crystal, LLC. is the host for Michigan Council of Covens and Solitaires event "Monthly Movie Night." From now until October, maybe longer MCCS will have movie nights each month in fundraising and community gathering efforts.
Michigan Council of Covens and Solitaires (MCCS) present a monthly movie series all year long, sure to excite the hearts of many. Each movie has a suggested donation of $2 per person at the door to cover use of the space, and we will be selling popcorn, candy, and water. We will also have coffee and tea (herbal, green, and regular) available by donation. All proceeds go to help MCCS efforts and future events.
Our next movie will be on Saturday April 12th at 8pm where we will be showing the Disney hit Frozen!
